Wasp offers three types of barcode ribbons: wax, wax/resin, and resin.

  • Wax ribbons are great for general-purpose applications such as asset tracking and inventory control. Wax ribbons work best on paper labels and low-end synthetics.
  • Wax/resin ribbons are more versatile that wax ribbons and tend to work best on paper labels and matte synthetics that require a little more durability.
  • Resin ribbons protect against harsh environmental conditions found in heavy industrial and logistics settings. Resin ribbons work best on high-end gloss and matte synthetics.
